Ms. Duong Tran Diem Han, former Head of the English Department at EMASI Nam Long International Bilingual School, brings over a decade of experience in teaching and educational leadership at international bilingual schools. She has served as both a Subject Lead and a Teacher of English throughout her career, dedicating three years to EMASI Nam Long.
With in-depth knowledge and outstanding achievements in the field of education, Ms. Han holds an IELTS score of 8.0 and possesses a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Saigon, along with a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in English Language Teaching from Edith Cowan University, Australia. She has also participated in numerous international training programs and workshops, including EF Teacher Training, Teacher-in-service with CISS Consultants, and workshops organized by the Toronto District School Board, both as a participant and interpreter.
Beyond her active involvement in professional activities, Ms. Han has served as a speaker at workshops on classroom management and maximizing student engagement at international bilingual schools. She has also attended international conferences such as ELLSA 2018 in Singapore and ELLSA 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.
With a passion for teaching and a commitment to quality education, Ms. Han has contributed to the development of education and has been recognized by being ranked among the Top 50 Outstanding Products in the "Innovative Education Forum on IT Platform 2020" contest. She is dedicated to providing the most effective and creative teaching methods to support the holistic development of her students.
Ms. Han believes that every student has unique potential, and the role of a teacher is to help them discover and maximize their abilities. With the belief that "English is not just a subject, but a tool to open up new opportunities", Ms. Han focuses not only on equipping students with grammar and vocabulary but also on developing essential soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
