Education and Qualifications: Master of Arts in Vietnamese Literature

During more than 9 years of experience teaching and supervising his students’ literature learning in the Department of Literature at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted and training HCMC’s excellent students in Literature and Department of Training and Education, Mr. Tran Tien Thanh has always followed his meaningful educational philosophy: "Teachers are not only experts in their teaching subjects but also required to make an interesting learning environment and inspire students about learning, passion and creativity.”

Beside working as a Literature teacher and specialist, he has also participated in writing a number of reference books and textbooks on this subject. Throughout his various roles in education, he has always expressed an enthusiasm and passion to foster and develop students’ love for Vietnamese literature.

He plans is to make his project of teaching Literature by advanced pedagogy methods in a modern school come true. Following this plan, Literature will develop students’ abilities in their: usage of Vietnamese language (reading, writing, speaking and listening); thinking (especially self-negotiation and criticism); self-study; problem solving; aesthetic taste; imagination and creativity. Based on these strengths, students can create a positive lifestyle and good personalities.
