Education and Qualifications: Doctor of Biotechnology

Graduating from the Faculty of Biotechnology at the University of Natural Sciences (VNU-HCM), Mr. Nguyen Tri Nhan has been a lecturer in this university. With his efforts for furher development and passion for the subject of Biology, he has achieved the UNESCO Scholarship for Biotechnology to teacher in Thailand, Japan and then received a PhD scholarship of Biotechnology at Osaka University, Japan.

Mr. Nguyen Tri Nhan now works as Head of the Biology Department at the University of Natural Sciences. He has achieved many successful innovative projects in Education, such as: modernized training in Biology and Biotechnology to meet social needs and related sides (employers, alumnus, students); well-building a high-quality Biotechnology curriculum program to train students’, using integrated knowledge-skills-attitudes to enhance their effective working competency after graduation.

In addition, he has also published 5 international articles, more than 10 domestic articles and many scientific reports at conferences in Vietnam and overseas. His scientific project of Applied-Protein in making medication, is particularly impressive and has been sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology and manufactured by a pharmaceutical company.

With his progressive educational philosophy: "Education needs to inspire and train students' attitude of self-study to find joy and passion in improving their soul-mind-physical-aesthetic taste”, he has constantly deepened his knowledge and strengthen his teaching skills. Thus, he has received many impressive recognitions from students and parents during his diverse experiences of effectively teaching students from schools (VNU-HCM High School for the Gifted) to universities (undergraduates, post-graduates and PhD researchers from the University of Natural Sciences).
