Notes For Halloween Celebration 2019

Dear valued Parents,

Halloween is a traditional festival in many countries of Western Europe and North America, taking place on October 31st each year. Halloween celebrations have gradually become popular with urban families in Vietnam.

This year, students in EMASI Schools will have their first opportunity to participate in the unique activities at our schools of the avant-garde to create different Halloween-themed experiences in each class. Such as: Halloween decorations with their own drawings and handmade products; have fun with English/ motor/ creative / puzzle games; dress up in costumes of their favorite characters; take pictures of Halloween memories and many more….

The Halloween Festival will be held on Thursday (October 31). To support students to enjoy this amazing event, please remember the following:

1. All students from Kindergarten to High School should dress up as their favorite characters when going to school in the morning to participate in Halloween activities as well as taking Halloween photos. Kindergarten students will participate in the fun festival in their classroom.

2. Students are required to bring their school uniform / sports uniform in their backpack to change into after the festival, so they continue to join in learning activities for the rest of the day.

3. We also have already sent the Halloween newsletter to Parents in EMASI Nam Long and EMASI Van Phuc to share some guidelines of each school’s celebration.

4. Halloween Costume Guidelines:
* Costumes need to be selected in accordance with the school environment.
* Masquerade costumes should not show disrespect or ridicule towards any group of people: ethnic minorities, races, religions, nationalities, people with disabilities or individuals (employees or students) who are studying and working at school.
* Costumes should be comfortable enough to avoid bulky accessories, so not to affect the learning activities of the day.
* Do not use accessories that may cause danger or are prohibited objects in the school, such as: swords, guns, sharp objects….
* Don’t wear any costumes that covers your face completely. If your children have face paint, please do not cover more than 50% of the face (because we need to recognize our students).

We would like to thank you for your collaboration in making this a memorable Halloween for the students.

Sincerely yours,
EMASI Schools
